How to Obtain a Travel Permit? Obtaining Travel (Road Permit) Document from Phone and Email
The information that a total closure will take place across Turkey between April 29 and May 17 was sent to the governorships of 81 provinces by the Ministry of Interior. According to the circular of the Ministry of Interior, the full closing period, which will begin on April 29 at 19.00, will end at 05.00 on May 17. With the 17-day full closure period, it has become mandatory for our passengers who will travel by plane, train, ship or bus to present a travel permit.
If passengers who do not have a travel permit buy a ticket, it may result in a penalty if it is noticed that there is no permit during the controls to be made at the airport, station, bus station or port.
How to Obtain a Travel Permit?
Travel Permit applications are received via e-Government. This document can also be requested over the Alo 199 communication line.
After logging into the e-Government system with your TR ID number and password, click on the new application link on the system that opens. Then you need to select the application type and document type on the tab that opens.

Those whose applications are approved are accepted after verification with their citizenship numbers at the application desks set up at the bus terminal or airport.
Who Can Get a Travel Permit?
The following statements were included in the circular issued by the Ministry of Interior;

Having been discharged from the hospital where he was treated and wishing to return to his original residence, referred with a doctor's report or having a doctor's appointment/control previously taken,
​
Maximum 2 persons accompanying themselves or their spouse's first-degree relative or sibling who is being treated in hospital

Those who have arrived in the city they are in within the last 5 days but do not have a place to stay and want to return to their place of residence, and those who submit their arrival within 5 days with their travel ticket, the vehicle license plate they came from, and other documents and information showing their travel,
​
Those who will participate in the central exams announced by ÖSYM, who want to complete their military service and return to their settlements,
​
It will be accepted that those who have a letter of invitation to a private or public daily contract and who have been released from penitentiary institutions have a compulsory condition.

Persons with a Travel Permit will be exempt from the curfew during their travel period.
​
Considering the possible increase in travel permit requests during the full closure process, the governors and district governors will take all kinds of measures to ensure that the travel permit requests can be evaluated and decided quickly, especially the assignment of sufficient number of personnel.
Do Passengers Going Abroad Need a Travel Permit?
Passengers going abroad do not need to obtain a travel permit by calling the Alo199 line or E-Government. The travel permit document is the document that citizens who will travel within the city and/or intercity only in "necessary cases" should get by calling the E-Government or Alo199 line.
